1st day ROME Arrival at Fiumicino airport and private transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is at your leisure. Welcome dinner and overnight at the hotel
2nd day ROME Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning private guided sightseeing of the city: an itinerary by coach and on foot to visit its classic monuments. Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads, our local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate, and Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S. Angelo the bus will leave you close to the Vatican City. Having admired St.Peter's Square where you can hear all the guide has to say about the Basilica*, you will then have the chance (except when there are religious celebrations) to explore this magnificent church on your own and to admire masterpieces such as Michelangelo's “La Pietà” and Bernini's bronze canopy before rejoining the bus. Lunch at your own. In the Afternoon your guided tour will continue with Piazza Venezia and its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier. Then you continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo from where you will have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. Your bus will continue by the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius before arriving at the Basilica of St. Paul outside the walls (visit inside). The tour will be completed with a stop outside the imposing Colosseum. Return to your hotel. Overnight.
3rd day ROME Breakfast at your hotel. Day at disposal for optional tours. Overnight
4th day ROME/NAPLES Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer by bus to Naples. Rest of day at your leisure – Overnight
5th day NAPLES Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning meeting at the hotel with your guide for your tour of the historic centre of the city and its monuments. Afternoon at disposal for shopping or optional tours. Overnight.
6th day NAPLES Breakfast at your hotel. Departure to Pompei for lunch in restaurant (drinks not included) After lunch continuation along the sorrentine coast ( short panoramic stop in Meta di Sorrento ) and the Amalfi coast with short panoramic stop with view on Positano. Continuation along the Amalfi Coast until Vietri sul Mare and than back to Naples and drop off in hotel. Overnight
7th day NAPLES Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Naples airport or railways station.
